Our Story
CodeLevel started with a few developers who were already building software for a living, each in our own area: backend systems and AI, web and mobile apps, and the business platforms companies run on. We kept meeting businesses that needed exactly this kind of work, but didn't want to pay for a large agency or hand their product to people they would never speak to.
So we teamed up. Today we're a small team at the freelance stage, combining our domain expertise to build AI applications, machine learning systems, reliable backends, and the rest of the software a business depends on.
Every project is handled by the people who build it. No account managers, no hand-offs to a team you've never met, and nothing between your question and the answer. We also share what we learn along the way on our blog.

Meet the founder
Dhananjay Kant Sharma is a backend and AI engineer. His work covers backend engineering, APIs, and AI systems such as LLM applications and RAG, and he still builds production software in this field every day.
He started CodeLevel with fellow engineers he trusts, so businesses could get the same level of engineering without an agency's overhead. He leads each project from the first call through architecture, development, and launch, and works alongside the rest of the team the whole way.

Is CodeLevel a registered company?
Not yet. CodeLevel is an early-stage startup, and for now we work as a team of independent engineers. We say this upfront on the first call. NDAs, a written scope, and full ownership of your code are part of every project, whatever our company status.
Who will actually work on my project?
The engineers who build it. Our founder leads each project, and teammates with the right domain expertise join where it's needed. You talk to them directly, with no account managers in between.
How do you keep my data and code secure?
We sign an NDA on request, use only the access each task needs, and keep production credentials in your accounts rather than ours. When the project ends, all code, accounts, and access are handed over to you.
Why work with a small team instead of an agency?
You work directly with experienced engineers, decisions happen faster, and costs stay lower because there are no sales or management layers to pay for. We take on a limited number of projects at a time, so each one gets proper attention.
